While not the most tasteful beverage, Grog sustains all sailors through long voyages, until they can take their share of the plunder to land and buy true rum!
Sea Songs and Shanties

Ahh, so much more quickly does the time pass while on voyages when you and the crew sing verses about sailing, sailors, and the events that take place upon the high seas.

A very thorough and entertaining list of Songs can be found at Shanties and Sea Songs,.
The same webpage also has a page for Shanties which are more suited for any common sailors and not captains.

Templeton Ladies  (an Alyrian take on "Spanish Ladies")
Farewell and adieu unto you Temp'ton ladies
Farewell and adieu to you ladies of Temp!
For it's we've received orders to sail for old Rune towne,
But we hope very soon we shall see you again.
We'll rant and we'll roar like true Runic sailors,
We'll rant and we'll roar across the Ingenii!
Until we strike soundings in the Channel of ye old Rune.
From Arcane to Rune towne is forty-two leagues.

We heave our ship to with the wind at sou'west, boys
We heave our ship to, our soundings to see.
So we rounded and sounded; got sixty-three fathoms
We squared our main yard and up channel steered we.

Now thefirst land we made it is called the Lowangen
Next Euphoric west of Irda, called Wizardry Isle.
We sailed by Magencia, by Mericus and Bloodbane,
Till we came abreast at ye old Runic Lighthouse.

Then the signal was made for the clan fleet to anchor,
All in the surf that night for to lie.
Then it's stand by your stoppers, see clear you shank-painters,
Haul all your clew garnets, let tacks and sails fly!

Now let every man toss off a full bumper,
And let everyman drink off a full glass.
And we'll drink and be merry and drown in melancholy,
Singing, here's a good health to each true-hearted lass!
