Reinforced Wood Hull Armor
The shipwright will retrofit the hull of the ship with strips of wood that have been reinforced with strips of bronze. This strengthens the hull by 20 points.

Iron Hull Armor
The shipwright will install additional hull plating in the form of sheets of hammered iron. This additional armor increases the strength of the hull by 30 points.

Admantite Hull Armor
The shipwright will install plating over the hull crafted of fine admantite, an incredibly strong and resilient metal alloy. This additional plating will increase the maximum hull strength by 50 points.

Vorpal Shielding
The shipwright will install a magical shield generator in the bow of the ship that reduces damage received from collisions and ship-targeted weapon attacks by a maximum of 10 percent. Vorpal shields are powered by astral reagents.

-Provides 20 shield points, each one equal to 2 hull points concerning damage.

Spectral Shielding
The shipwright will install a magical shield generator in the bow of the ship that reduces damage received from collisions and ship-targeted weapon and magical attacks by a maximum of 25 percent. Spectral shields are powered by astral reagents.

-Available to drakkars, corsairs, dromonds, galleons, dreadnoughts, junks, and super dreadnoughts.
-Provides 50 shield points, each one equal to 2 hull points concerning damage.

Velocity Booster
The shipwright will install an enchanted ruby gemstone in the fuel tank of your ship, thus increasing its burn rate, and subsequently its maximum speed, slightly.
-Costs 2,500,000 gold
-Available to drakkars, corsairs, dromonds, galleons, dreadnoughts, junks, and super dreadnoughts.
-Gives an increase of 1 knot

Fuel Tank
The shipwright will install an additional fuel tank on your ship, increasing its fuel capacity by 5,000 gallons.

Flag Mount
The shipwright will install a bronze flag mount on the bow of the ship. A selection of standard flags and symbols will also be provided, and the captain of the ship can change flags at a whim. Flags will be viewable via the SURVEY command, as well as in the description of a ship that is given when someone looks around in a room.

Onboard Sextant
The shipwright will install a custom-fitted sextant into the ship, allowing all aboard to take advantage of its longitude and latitude readings.

The shipwright will install a series of special woven oiled sails that can be used in the event of sailing against strong winds to reduce the drag on the main ship sails.

Beacon
The shipwright will install a beacon lantern on the deck of the ship. Useful only at night, this upgrade works to increase the SHIP SCAN radius to its day effectiveness. Each time SHIP SCAN is used when the ship's visibility is noticably lower than normal, 5 to 15 units of fuel are used to power the light (depending on the amount of darkness).
